Saddle Stitched Brochures for Companies, Products and Sales Teams

A brochure gives your business enough space to explain what you do properly. Saddle stitched brochures are made from folded printed sheets secured through the spine, creating a clean multi-page publication for company profiles, product catalogues, property marketing, portfolios and sales literature.

Same-Day Brochure Printing

Selected A4 and A5 brochures can qualify for same-day production when one unlaminated stock is used throughout. On 170gsm stock the brochure can contain up to 20 pages, while 130gsm stock can contain up to 28 pages. Quantities up to 250 may qualify, subject to artwork, stock and current production capacity.

When to Choose a Separate Cover

A separate cover gives a brochure more weight and a more premium first impression. It also enables heavier cover stocks, lamination and selected specialist finishes, making it especially suitable for company profiles, property brochures, catalogues and publications intended for repeated handling.

Preparing Brochure Artwork

Supply the brochure as individual pages in reading order rather than imposed printer spreads. Our team checks common production issues before printing.

  • Use page counts in multiples of four
  • Add 3mm bleed to every page
  • Keep important text and logos clear of trims and binding edge
  • Supply CMYK PDF artwork where possible
  • Use high-resolution images, ideally 300dpi
  • Keep all pages the same finished size

Need More Than 72 Pages?

Perfect Binding creates a paperback-style square spine and is normally better suited to larger catalogues and high-page-count brochures. You can still submit the enquiry and our team will advise the most suitable binding.

Questions answered

Brochure Printing FAQs

What is the difference between a brochure and a booklet?

The physical production can be identical. A brochure is usually created to present a company, service, product, property or sales proposition, while the word booklet is used more broadly for programmes, guides, manuals and other multi-page publications.

Which brochures can qualify for same-day production?

Selected A4 and A5 saddle stitched brochures from 25 to 250 copies may qualify when one unlaminated paper stock is used throughout. On 170gsm stock the brochure can contain up to 20 pages, while 130gsm stock can contain up to 28 pages. Availability remains subject to artwork, stock and production capacity.

What page counts are available?

Saddle stitched brochure page counts start at 8 pages and increase in multiples of four up to 72 pages. If your brochure needs more pages, we can review it for Perfect Binding instead.

Can my brochure have a heavier cover?

Yes. Standard-production brochures can use a separate 170gsm, 250gsm or 350gsm Silk cover, or a 250gsm Uncoated cover. A separate heavy cover is not eligible for same-day production.

Can the brochure cover be laminated?

Yes. Lamination is available on eligible separate covers of 250gsm and heavier. Matt, Gloss and Soft Touch options are available.

Can I add foil or Spot UV?

Selected separate covers can use Spot UV, Gold Foil or Silver Foil after Matt or Soft Touch lamination. Specialist finishing normally requires approximately 4–5 working days.

Which paper is best for a company brochure?

150gsm or 170gsm Silk is a popular choice for image-led company brochures. For a more substantial publication, use a separate 250gsm or 350gsm Silk cover with an appropriate lamination.

Can you design the brochure for me?

Yes. We can help with complete brochure design, page layout, artwork correction or preparing supplied content for print.

What is the normal turnaround?

Brochures that do not qualify for selected same-day production are normally shown with a 3–4 working day turnaround. Specialist cover finishes may require 4–5 working days.

Can I collect my brochures from Barking?

Yes. Collection is available from our Barking print shop, with London courier and nationwide UK delivery options also available.
