Dimensional Lettering
Large-format lettering creates depth and a strong focal point within the shopfront.
Moving Mountains is one of the more unusual illuminated shopfront projects in the Signs portfolio. The finished frontage combines large dimensional lettering with a distinctive lighting treatment that changes the character of the sign after dark.

The visual impact of this project comes from more than the size of the lettering. The illumination and controlled colour treatment give the sign a strong night-time presence and make the lighting behaviour part of the finished brand experience.
That makes Moving Mountains a useful example of why illuminated signage needs to be considered as a complete system: letter construction, spacing, light output, electrical control and the surrounding shopfront all affect the result.

Illumination keeps the branding visually prominent after surrounding ambient light falls.
The controlled colour effect gives the finished sign a more distinctive behaviour than standard single-colour illumination.
The sign is considered together with the glazing, entrance and surrounding commercial environment.

The video is the clearest way to understand why this project deserves its own case study. The lighting behaviour is part of the sign itself, not simply a static illuminated face.
Many illuminated signs rely on a single static lighting treatment. Moving Mountains is worth highlighting because the controlled lighting adds another technical and visual layer to the project. The result is a shopfront that changes character after dark while keeping the core lettering legible and recognisable.
